When you’re creating a blog post, writing a good article is essential. However, it is also very important to accompany the writing with great images and videos. Sometimes, you just want to share a video from YouTube with your visitors. If you think a video deserves to be seen, take a look at how to add YouTube videos on your blog posts.
Use Insert A Video Shortcut
There are two ways of adding a video to your article and the first one is rather easy. Whether you’re using WordPress, Blogger or any other CMS, the process is quite similar. When you click on Create New Post and start writing your article, simply stop at the point where you want to add your video.
Now, use the Insert Video icon in the post menu, above the area where you’re writing your text. It will open a pop-up dialog where you need to enter the URL of your video. Now, head to YouTube and open your video. Copy the URL from the address bar and paste it back to your article. Finally, click Insert and you’ve finished how to add YouTube videos on your blog posts.
Use HTML Editor Of Your Post
The other way is a bit harder but it gives you more options to modify how your video will look like. On the screen where the desired video is located, choose Share option. Next, make sure to select Embed option. You will see an HTML code appearing on the screen. Select it, choose copy and return to your post.
Within your post editor, open the HTML screen. In WordPress, this is marked with Text right above the area where you type the post. Now, paste the URL wherever you want to show the video. Notice that you can set the height and width of the frame within which your video is showing. That’s it, you’ve finished how to add YouTube videos on your blog posts tutorial.
